Linear gel may dehydrate due to exposure to high-temperature, causing a loss of viscosity and risk of screen-out – cessation of pumping due to loss of fracture width which causes a spike in the treating pressure. 

JKN-TS is specifically designed to be used to prevent degradation of fracture fluids at temperatures greater than 200°F（95°C）.
